Alright, so I decided to draw a redo for a festive take on April. This one is better. I had a lot of trouble with all the transparency and all the layers (especially with the folds in her skirt), but I was able to pull it off, and I must say, I'm so, so happy with the result. In the beginning, a lot of things didn't seem to be working out, but thankfully, everything ended up working out. The only things I really don't like are her footpaws and her right hand, but they're still not that bad.
My brother and I put together the idea for that background. I wasn't sure I'd like its abstract-y look at first (or the bare trees), but after I did some messing around, it ended up looking pretty nice. So I kept it. Besides, this is better than taking wasting 5 hours on making a halfway decent, detailed background, especially of a 2000x2000 resolution.
I was hoping to be able to do a holiday-ish piece, and I'm glad I ended up being able to. ^^
Special thanks to the fellow Deviant who created the tree brushes I used for the background, =charfade[link]

Speaking of detail, there was a lot to take into consideration, but I'm happy it all worked out in the end.
